ADA Public Notice

The County of Sacramento is committed to improving access to County programs and services and providing accommodation to individuals with disabilities as required under state and federal law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The DCO supports County departments and their employees, offers limited information and referral services to the community at large, and provides staff support to the Sacramento County Disability Advisory Commission (DAC), an advisory group to the Board of Supervisors.

County Employee Reasonable Accommodations: Medical/Leaves Team facilitates and coordinates reasonable accommodations, as defined by the ADA and the California Fair Employment & Housing Act (FEHA), for all County employees with d​isabilities.  A reasonable accommodation is a logical adjustment made to a job and/or the environment that enables an otherwise qualified person with a disability to perform the essential functions of their positions.  Submit requests to dps-medical-leaves@saccounty.gov.
